Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Elliot Smith
Elliot Smith

Xuan Tan opened to 110,000 from mid-position and Elliot Smith called on the big blind. The two saw a flop of {2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {5-Diamonds} hit on the turn.

Smith took the lead, tossing out a bet worth 90,000. Tan called. The {a-Spades} completed the board and Smith led again, this time going big with a bet of 275,000. Tan called once more and mucked when Smith tabled {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, rivering a straight.

The very next hand, Yan Li opened to 110,000 from the cutoff, which Smith then three-bet to 375,000, getting a call from Li.

Smith switched gears and continued with a bet of just 90,000 on the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop. Looking confused, Li made the call. The {4-Spades} landed on the turn and Smith fired again, this time for 180,000. Li called.

The {2-Hearts} appeared on the river and both players checked. Smith turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Li mucked.
