Current chip leader Xuan Tan
Current chip leader Xuan Tan

Aymon Hata opened to 18,000 from under-the-gun and Xuan Tan called from the big blind. The two big stacks saw a {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades} laid out in front of them and both players checked to get a free card on the turn, the {k-Diamonds}.

Tan check-raised a bet of 13,000 from Hata to 55,000. Hata called. The {j-Spades} landed on the river and Tan led out with a bet of [65,000]. After counting out a call, Hata thought for a moment before sliding it forward.

Tan showed {k-Spades}{3-Spades} for a rivered flush, after turning trip kings, and Hata mucked.

Tens For Yu

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yasuyuki Tsuji was the first player to throw chips in the middle when he raised to 18,000 from the hijack seat. Action then fell on Soichiro Kojiya in the cutoff and he called. Next up was Han Yu on the button and he pushed all in. Tsuji folded but Kojiya called.

Yu: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Kojiya: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The dealer delivered a board of {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Yu doubled up with his tens.

Jun Liu

Jun Liu opened to 18,000 from under-the-gun, Ryan Yu three-bet to 47,000 from late position, and Liu made the call.

On a {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, Yu continued for 46,000 and Liu check-called. The {8-Diamonds} was introduced on the turn and Liu checked again. Yu slid out a stack of yellow chips worth 100,000 and Liu moved all-in, having Yu covered.

Yu thought for a moment before depositing his cards in the muck.

Rabotkin vs. Yu

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Winfred Yu raised to 19,000 from early position and action folded most of the way around the table, pausing on Dzmitry Rabotkin on the button. He thought for a moment before three-betting to 50,000, getting a call from Yu.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and both players checked. They also checked the {k-Diamonds} turn, going to the river of {a-Clubs}. Yu led out for 37,000 and Rabotkin folded.

Tan Takes a Chunk From Hata

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We were drawn across the room by the sea of yellow chips we could see growing in the middle of a table. The pot amounted to about 220,000 and action was at the turn with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} spread beside the uncontainable mound of chips. Xuan Tan counted a bet of 150,000 and pushed it forward. Aymon Hata thought for a moment and folded.

Jiang Likes Aces

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Artem Metalidi raised to 18,000 from middle position and Jianbo Jiang pushed all in for 125,000. Metalidi quickly called.

Jiang: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Metalidi: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

"Again?" Metalidi asked, looking at the aces on the table.

The board came {5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Jiang doubled up.

"I like these," Jiang said, gesturing to the aces.
