Loosli Clashes With Ruzicka

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a blind battle, Vojtech Ruzicka bet 600 on a {3-Spades}{J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board. Sylvain Loosli raised to 2,800 and Ruzicka called. On the {K-Spades} river, Ruzicka checked to Loosli, who bet 3,500. Ruzicka responded with a raise of his own, check-raising to 11,000.

Loosli shook his head and was visibly unhappy with the situation. He used one of his time bank chips before folding his hand.

Engel Bests Ozimek

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante
Ben Heath & Ari Engel
Ben Heath & Ari Engel

Ari Engel and Michal Ozimek invested 2,500 each before the flop of {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Ozimek checked in late position. Engel bet 2,100 on the button and Ozimek called.

After the {5-Clubs} turn, Ozimek checked once more and Engel's second bet of 5,025 was enough to rake in the pot without any further resistance. Both players are up for the table thus far, though, while the biggest stack on their table belongs to Koray Aldemir.

Petrangelo in Early Trouble

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

While Juha Helppi has started well into the High Roller and already built up quite some profit, Nick Petrangelo's stack has been cut down considerably. The duo just met in a small pot and again it was Helppi that had the best of it. The Finn opened to 500 and Petrangelo called out of the big blind.

On the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Petrangelo check-called a bet of 500 before check-folding the {9-Clubs} turn to a second barrel.

Below are some further new faces that joined the field as of recently.

Laka Takes a Hit

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Four players including Zeev Krichevski, David Laka and Tibor Nagygyorgy invested 1,750 on the flop of {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. After the {K-Diamonds} turn, it was Laka from under the gun that bet 8,500. Only Nagygyorgy called to see the {10-Spades} river and Laka made it 9,400 to go.

Nagygyorgy raised to 20,000 and Laka folded, then joked "you have to show it." One player at the table guessed king-ten, while Markus Durnegger said "pocket fours" and Nagygyorgy played along, asking Laka "what do you think I have?" before eventually rolling over the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Laka was the next big blind and moved away to balance the tables.

In a blind battle, Avraham Azulay was in the big blind with a bet of 4,000 in front of him on a {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Clubs} board. Vieira called in the small blind.

The river brought the {2-Spades} and Vieira checked. Azulay bet 7,000 and Vieira called after a short while. Azulay couldn't muster up more than {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Vieira showed {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush and won the hand.

As the hand progressed, Sam Grafton took his seat at this table as a new entry. Kenny Hallaert has also entered the High Roller.

Peters Leaves Emelyanov Short

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jimmy Guerrero and David Peters are enjoying a decent start into the High Roller while Roman Emelyanov on their table has taken a big hit to the stack early on. In the latest hand, Grieco paid off the nut straight of Peters and sighed before getting involved into the next hand right away.

According to Peters, Emelyanov had raised to 525 and Peters three-bet to 1,600, which the Russian called. On the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Emelyanov check-called a bet of 1,700 and the duo checked the {3-Clubs} turn. On the {J-Hearts} river, Emelyanov bet 3,100 and called Peters' raise to 12,600 only to muck to the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} of the American poker pro.

Krichevski Catches "Kool Shen" Off Guard

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes raised to 550 from the cutoff and Adrian Mateos called on the button. Zeev Krichevski three-bet to 1,600 from the small blind and received two calls. On the {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, Krichevski checked, Lopes bet 3,150, Mateos folded and Krichevski snap-called.

On the {4-Clubs} turn, Krichevski instantly led out for 4,000 and Lopes called. The river brought the {5-Hearts} and Krichevski splashed in 7,500 without hesitation. Lopes wasn't giving up and quickly called.

Much to everyone's surprise, Krichevski tabled an unlikely {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for running two pair. That prompted a good chuckle from all of Krichevski's table mates, except for "Kool Shen", who mucked with a disgruntled look on his face.
