Moreira de Melo Doubles Through Zyrin

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Fatima Moreira de Melo
Fatima Moreira de Melo

Fatima Moreira de Melo opened early to 45,000 and called a three-bet to 150,000 from Anatolii Zyrin (cutoff). On the {6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Moreira de Melo check-called 120,000. The PokerStars Team Pro checked the {10-Hearts} turn and got set in for 680,000, just a bit over the size of the pot. She tanked a couple of minutes and called.

Moreira de Melo: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Zyrin: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Zyrin had tried pushing a draw but found himself drawing dead. Moreira de Melo collected a huge double.

Golan Eliminates Yantsevich

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We found Valery Yantsevich all in for about 500,000 with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} against the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Navot Golan. It looked like Yantsevich had opened and called off when Golan shipped it from the big blind.

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, no improvement to either player, so Golan collected the pot in the big flip.

Barriocanal Pays Off Sow

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Kalidou Sow and Daniel Barriocanal each put in 62,000 on a {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades} flop and both checked the {a-Hearts}, bringing an {8-Spades}. Sow, who was in middle position, checked. Barriocanal fired in 200,000 and Sow took awhile and then raised to 480,000. Barriocanal sighed and went into the tank. A couple of minutes later, he slid in calling chips but shook his head when Sow turned over {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the nuts.

Foxen Doubles

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen (under the gun) got his 404,000 in chips in against Diego Zeiter (big blind) before the flop. Foxen had by far the best of it with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} as Zeiter tabled {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The board would come {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Foxen scored the full double.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Daniel Barriocanal raised to 43,000 in the cutoff and Gianluca Speranza defended big blind. Speranza checked the {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and Barriocanal bet 45,000. Speranza moved in and Barriocanal snap-folded.

"You were calling preflop?" Speranza asked.

Barriocanal nodded and Speranza showed {k-}{q-}.

Soshnikov Wins Flip to Stay Alive

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From the hijack, Ivan Soshnikov moved in for 196,000. His neighbor Alessio Isaia in the cutoff shoved over the top for 241,000 more and all other players folded.

Ivan Soshnikov: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Alessio Isaia: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

Soshnikov would win the flip with the board coming {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, Isaia now one of the shortest players still in.

Foxen Gives Up in Four-Bet Pot

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

From early position, Alex Foxen opened for 45,000. Action folded to Valentyn Shabelnyk in the small blind and he three-bet to 165,000. The big blind folded before Foxen fired back with a four-bet to 335,000. Shabelnyk called.

Both checked the flop of {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the {7-Clubs} hit the turn. Shabelnyk checked again and Foxen bet 155,000 with 392,000 behind. After about a minute or so, Shabelnyk shoved all in. Foxen folded instantly.
