Nuts No Pair

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Salman Behbehani opened the button for 12,000 and big blind John Juanda called. Both checked the {10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop and {8-Spades} turn before Juanda lead for 43,000 on the {2-Clubs} river. Behbehani needed some time, tossed in a time bank chip, and eventually called.

"Nuts!" Juanda said with a not too serious face, followed by "Nuts no pair!"

Juanda showed {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} for nothing much, Behbehani took it down with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Chidwick Getting Short

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Joao Simao opened the button for 8,000 and small blind Jean-Noel Thorel and big blind Stephen Chidwick called. All three of them checked on {4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Thorel checked again on the {3-Hearts} turn. Chidwick bet out 16,000, Simao called, Thorel folded.

The {A-Hearts} river saw Chidwick check. Simao pushed all in and Chidwick immediately laid it down.

Sontheimer Busts Zinno

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Anthony Zinno, down to around 52,000, shoved from the hijack. As Nicola Grieco had just busted the hand before, there was only a big blind. Steffen Sontheimer, who had the big blind, called instantly.

Anthony Zinno: {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Steffen Sontheimer: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} flop was about as bad as they could come for Zinno. The {4-Clubs} on the turn probably gave him some hope but the {6-Spades} on the river wasn't the miracle he needed.

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Igor Kurganov and Jack Salter have bought back in after busting. Murad Akhundov is a new entrant.

Karmazinas Check-Raises

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

From the hijack, Rainer Kempe opened for 7,000. Big blind Dominykas Karmazinas said "You again, huh? I'm gonna get you!" before he called.

Karmazinas' check on {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was followed by a bet of 4,000 by Kempe. Karmazinas check-raised to 16,000 and Kempe called.

Both players checked the {Q-Spades} on the turn before the {6-Spades} was placed as the river by the dealer. Karmazinas checked again. Kempe saw his clock run down to just 5 seconds and bet 11,000. Karmazinas folded.

Salter Dusted

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

David Dayan opened for 7,500 from the hijack and Jack Salter on the button three-bet to 21,000. The small blind folded but big blind Philipp Gruissem cold four-bet to 46,000. Dayan instantly folded, Salter pushed all in just as quick and Gruissem beat him to the pot.

Philipp Gruissem: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Jack Salter: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

After some confusion over the pot (Gruissem put his stack on the 5,000 chip that was already in the middle because of the antes), the dealer got underway dealing the board. As it came {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{K-Clubs}, Salter departed.
