Adrian Mateos Eliminated in 13th Place (€75,600)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Thomas Muehloecker made it 45,000 to go from the cutoff and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 135,000 on the button. Julian Thomas asked for the bet size out of the big blind and folded, while Muehloecker clicked it back to 285,000. Mateos had another 529,000 behind after his bet and announced all in, which Muehloecker called in a heartbeat.

Thomas Muehloecker: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

"Queens against kings," Mateos said in Spanish to his rail and saw the board run out {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. After winning the €50,000 Single-Day High Roller, Mateos had to settle for 13th place this time around and collected another €75,600.

Gomez Zapatero Doubles Through Muehloecker

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Adrian Mateos hang around long enough after his bustout to see his countryman Javier Gomez Zapatero score a double up. Thomas Muehloecker raised to 45,000 from the cutoff and called Gomez's 281,000 shove on the button.

Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Javier Gomez Zapatero: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Mateos cheered the most.

Vlado Banicevic Eliminated in 11th Place (€87,040)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Vlado Banicevic
Vlado Banicevic

Vlado Banicevic moved all in first to act and the action folded to Dario Sammartino on the button. The Italian asked for a count and the shove of Banicevic was for 251,000 in total. Sammartino then moved all in and forced out both players in the blinds.

Vlado Banicevic: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The flip went to Sammartino, who didn't hit one of his two over cards but instead the nut flush on a board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Once the fourth diamond fell on the river, Banicevic shot out of his chair in disgust and left the table without a word. The player from Montenegro received €87,040 for his efforts and the remaining 10 players continue on two five-handed tables.

Sanioglu Takes One Down

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ekrem Sanioglu raised from the button and Javier Gomez Zapatero defended the big blind. The Spaniard check-called a bet worth 50,000 on the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop before the {6-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river were checked through. Sanioglu showed the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and won the pot.

One hand later, Gomez Zapatero raised to 50,000 in the small blind and Julian Thomas defended the big blind. Gomez Zapatero bet the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop for 60,000 and that won the pot. The Spaniard also raised the button one hand later for 45,000 and claimed the blinds and antes.

The three short stacks are Thomas, Murad Akhundov and Jimmy Guerrero.

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Murad Akhundov
Murad Akhundov

Murad Akhundov raised to 45,000 from under the gun. To his left, John Juanda made it 135,000 and action was folded back to Akhundov. The Azerbaijani shoved all in for 380,000 and Juanda snap-called.

Murad Akhundov: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
John Juanda: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

It wasn't the first time Juanda had three-bet Akhundov in the past hour, who folded on earlier occasions. The first time he four-bet shoved he ran into Juanda's monster and didn't escape on {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Akhundov received €87,040 for his tenth place finish.

The nine remaining players will redraw for the unofficial final table.
