Pisarenko Doubles Through Kakhmazov

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Seyed Ghavam opened the action with a raise to 11,000 and Nadar Kakhmazov three-bet to 32,500 from one seat over. Maksim Pisarenko four-bet all in for 62,000 and Ghavam quickly folded. Kakhmazov was given some table chat and reluctantly called.

Maksim Pisarenko: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Nadar Kakhmazov: {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Pisarenko had little to worry and saw the board run out {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Mikhail Molchanov Folds Turn

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Mikhail Molchanov opened from under the gun for 10,000 and got one call from Alexandr Minakov in late position who had him covered.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Molchanov continued for 13,000. Minakov called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and a check from Molchanov saw a bet of 23,000 from Minakov.

Some deep thought from Molchanov and with everything potentially at stake he folded.

Kiselev Gone; Finogenova Not

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Daniil Kiselev was one of the shortest stacks coming back from the break and busted soon after the action resumed.

Mikalai Vaskaboikinau open-shoved from under the gun and flashed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to claim the blinds and antes. The very next hand, Olga Finogenova shoved her last 17,000 and Vaskaboinikau called in the big blind.

Olga Finogenova: {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The board came {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the last woman in the field doubled two off the money.

Moneymaker Doubles Through Troyanovskiy

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

Chris Moneymaker was getting very short. The Team PokerStars pro came back from break with less than 10 big blinds and got his stack in the middle against Vladimir Troyanovskiy.

Moneymaker: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Troyanovsky: {8-Spades}{10-Spades}

Moneymaker instantly hated the spot and stood up from the table, gathering his belongings. Moneymaker stood by as the dealer rolled out a {6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} board. "I can't believe that held," said Moneymaker as he slid back into his chair and started stacking his new chips.

Ignatov Doubles; Prokhorskiy Doesn't

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

After coming back from the break, Jason Wheeler opened to 10,000 and Nikolay Prokhorskiy shoved for 22,500. The action folded back to Wheeler and he called.

Nikolay Prokhorskiy: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Jason Wheeler: {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and that was it for the Russian.

Over on table four, Anton Gililov raised and called the shove of short stack Pavel Ignatov for 28,000 with {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. Ignatov had the {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the kicker played on a board of {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Wheeler Scoops Big Pot to Leave Prokhorskiy Short

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In the last hand before the break, Jason Wheeler opened to 9,000 and was called by Nikolay Prokhorskiy from two seats over and Mikhail Galitski in the big blind. The flop of {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} was checked to Wheeler and his first barrel worth 13,500 was called by both opponents.

On the {A-Spades} turn, Galitski checked and Wheeler fired a second barrel of 26,000. This time, only Prokhorskiy called and the {5-Diamonds} came on the river. Wheeler made it 68,000 to go and Prokhorskiy had slightly more than that behind. "I don't know man, it might be ICM suicide," Prokhorskiy said half in Russian, half in English.

The call came half a minute later and Wheeler rolled over {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a full house to claim a big pot several minutes into the break.
