Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Alexander Lakhov raised to 11,000 from the small blind and Alexandr Potievskiy defended his big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Lakhov bet 11,000. Potievskiy called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Lakhov moved all in. Potievskiy called.

Lakhov: {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Shirshikov Bosses Nikitin and Shows Bluff

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Dmitry Nikitin opened the action with a raise to 10,500 and Pavel Shirshikov three-bet to 28,000 from one seat over, Nikitin called. On the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Nikitin check-called a bet worth 18,000 and did so again for 48,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn.

That left Nikitin with 100,000 behind and he checked the {J-Diamonds} river. Shirshikov quickly announced all in and that ultimately forced a fold from Nikitin, who was then shown a pure bluff with {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} by Shirshikov.

Jason Wheeler opened to 15,000 from middle position. Alexey Fedin started the hand-for-hand process as the shortstack with just 13,000 to his name, and he moved all in from the small blind. The big blind folded and the table waited for the cards to be turned over.

Wheeler turned over {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} while Fedin showed {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} with no help for Wheeler. The turn gave him a flush draw coming {3-Hearts}, in addition to the chop outs for a higher two pair. However the river was the {5-Clubs} and Fedin doubled up.

Barbero Loses a Big Flip to Bust

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Nacho Barbero
Nacho Barbero

Seyed Ghavam raised to 13,000 and Nacho Barbero flat-called from two seats over in the cutoff. Out of the big blind, Daniyar Aubakirov raised it up to 45,000 and Ghavam quickly folded. Barbero had a stack of around 180,000 and took a long time to make his decision. The clock was about to be called and the Argentinian moved all in, Aubakirov snap-called.

Daniyar Aubakirov: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Nacho Barbero: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The {J-Clubs} appeared right in the window, and the rest of the board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to leave Barbero drawing dead after the turn and reduce the field to the last 56.
