Galitski Loses Flip to Ghavam

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Mikhail Galitski
Mikhail Galitski

Seyed Ghavam raised to 25,000 and Timur Bubnov called on the button. Out of the big blind, Mikhail Galitski moved all in for what appeared to be 202,000, and Ghavam reshoved for more than twice of that to force a fold from Bubnov.

Seyed Ghavam: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Mikhail Galitski: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop changed nothing much, but Galitski was left with just four outs after the {7-Clubs} turn as he needed a king for a straight. Instead, the {6-Spades} river gave Ghavam a full house and Galitski was eliminated in 22nd place for 1,335,000 RUB.

Anton Gililov moved all in for 93,000 from early position. It folded to Dmitry Chop in the big blind who called

Chop: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Gililov: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

"Maybe we can find a seven somewhere," said Gililov, "Or eight nine."

"I think Mr Chop disagrees," said tablemate Chris Moneymaker.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}.

"Eight or seven," said Gililov.

The river was the {8-Hearts}, giving Gililov a straight and doubling up. Both he and Chop have around the same stack midway through the level.

Bubnov Takes A Pot From Ghavam

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Seyed Ghavam opened and got calls from Timur Bubnov on the button and big blind Mikhail Galitski.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} and it was checked to Bubnov who bet 34,000. Galitski folded and Ghavam went for a check-raise to 107,000. Bubnov called.

The turn card was the {9-Spades} which saw no action so they went to the river {a-Clubs}.

Ghavam bet 105,000 and Bubnov snapped him off.

Ghavam showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Bubnov tabled two pair {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} to take the pot.

Ni Finishes Off Zdanovskyi

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Yurii Zdanovskyi moved all in for his last 46,000 and the action folded to Lavrentiy Ni in the small blind, who announced a raise and put in 68,000. He was obliged to add another 12,000 for a legit three-bet and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called out of the big blind.

Ni bet the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop for 57,000 and ElkY called before the {3-Spades} fell on the turn. Ni fired another 82,000 and was called before moving all in for around 190,000 on the {9-Spades} river. ElkY looked over to his opponent and folded after brief consideration.

Zdanovskyi flipped over {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens and Ni held {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a set to finish the job he started in the last hand of the previous level.

Ghavam Guts a Bad Beated Bubnov

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Seyed Ghavam
Seyed Ghavam

Timur Bubnov opened to 25,000 from under-the-gun, and Mikhail Galitski three-bet to 70,000. Action folded around to Seyed Ghavam in the small blind, who four-bet shoved for 295,000. Bubnov instantly announced he was all-in as well and Galitski folded.

Bubnov: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Ghavam: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Ghavam was in trouble but a miracle queen on a {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop gave him the lead and it held through the river to score the double up.

Dmitry Chop Doubles Through Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Dmitry Chop

Dmitry Chop moved all in for his last ten big blinds from under-the-gun and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called in the hijack.

Troyanovskiy: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Chop: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

There was no help for Chop on the {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, but the {a-Hearts} was both a blessing and a curse. It meant that Troyanovskiy could hit a heart in addition to his ten. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Chop doubled up.

Zdanovskyi Triples

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From under the gun, Said Butba raised to 26,000 and Vitaliy Li called in the small blind. Yurii Zdanovskyi called all in for 16,000 in total and the flop fell {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Both remaining active players checked and Li check-folded to a bet worth 27,000 on the {8-Spades} turn.

Butba flipped over his {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Zdanovskyi first showed the {J-Clubs} followed by the {10-Hearts}. The {2-Diamonds} river was a blank and Zdanovskyi tripled up.
