Ni Doubles and Leaves Zdanovskyi Very Short

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The last three hands before the break provided some fireworks. First Daniyar Aubakirov took off fellow Kazakh Lavrentiy Ni before the latter limp-shoved into Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

Last but not least, the clock was about to run down for the level while Yurii Zdanovskyi had raised to 22,000. Ni was on the button and waited until 10 seconds remaining before announcing all in. The blinds folded and Zdanovskyi snap-called.

Yurii Zdanovskyi: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Lavrentiy Ni: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Ni said in Russian "give someone a set." Sure enough, the {9-Hearts} appeared on the turn and Ni improved to a set. A blank {7-Clubs} river let the rail of Ni celebrate and Zdanovskyi will return for the next level with less than two big blinds.

Bubnov Crushing, Takes Down Three in a Row

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We stood behind Timur Bubnov as he proceeded to dominate the table. Bubnov won three straight hands leading up to break.

None of the pots went to showdown. Bubnow continued his aggression throughout each hand, eventually forcing his opponents to lay theirs down.

Anton Gililov Down to Ten Big Blinds

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Anton Gililov
Anton Gililov

Pavel Shirshikov raised to 24,000 from the cutoff. Anton Gililov called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Gililov check-called a bet of 20,000 from Shirshikov.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Gililov check-called another bet of 47,000 from his opponent.

With only 108,000 behind Gililov was looking at a half-pot sized bet but he checked, as did Shirshikov.

Gililov showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} but was behind to Shirshikov's {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Zdanovskyi Doubles Up Through Aubakirov

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Daniyar Aubakirov opened from under the gun for 22,000. He is really pounding away at the table in the last level.

Yurii Zdanovskyi moved all in from the button and when the blinds folded Aubakirov gave him a spin.

Zdanovskyi had {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} while Aubakirov showed {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

Good for a double up by the turn for Zdanovskyi.
