Chris Moneymaker will fire a second bullet

A bumper field of 578 already showed up for the first two starting days of the PokerStars Festival Bucharest Main Event. 232 of those already made their way to Day 2. For those who fell short, a chance at redemption awaits at Day 1c. The third and final starting day sports reduced levels of 20 minutes and starts at 10 p.m. local time. The €500,000 guaranteed prize pool has already been smashed and will only grow higher as Day 1c commences.

Among those who will try again are Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker and MonteDam Swing winner Andreas Klatt. All players will receive 30,000 in chips and will play ten levels before the survivors join the rest at 1 p.m. tomorrow local time.

Bulgaru Gets A Quick Double-Up

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Valentin Bulgaru's second attempt started off well, as the Bulgarian doubled up with the nut flush. Holding {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Bulgaru check-raised a 3,600 bet to 10,500 on a {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} board, and his opponent called.

On the {4-Spades} river, Bulgaru shoved 17,000 and got a call from {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Stoenescu Gets It All

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With the pot a little under 15,000 and the board completed with {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Clubs}, Andrei Stoenescu moved all in from the blinds. The shove was enough to cover his opponent Mor Hilel, who played around 20,000 behind.

Hilel took a breath, then slid in a call.

Andrei Stoenescu: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Mor Hilel: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Hilel nearly ripped his cards in frustration before making his way to the exit.
