On the first hand of the day we saw Stefan Fabian all in against Fahredin Mustafov. Fabian held and Mustafov .
The board ran out and Mustafov's two pair was good for a double up to over 600,000.
On the very next hand, Fabian was all in for around 90,000 from under the gun. It looked like it was going to get through until it got to Dorin Agavriloae in the big blind who called.

The board ran out and Fabian was eliminated in the first two hands of Day 3.
Narcis Gabriel Nedelcu raised to 22,000 from early position and Tamas Kabatnic three-bet all in for around 200,000. It folded back to Nedelcu who called.

The board ran out with the queen on the turn eliminating Kabatnic.
Day 3 of this Main Event is looking pretty fast and furious so far, with just 34 of the 58 players still standing. It's not just the shortest of short stacks who have fallen either; two former chip leaders have vanquished, while the start-of-day chip leader has dipped into third place.

We said earlier that it was possible for some of the big stacks seated at Table 4 to collide, and it seems that the poker Gods have conjured up something special here in the third level of the day.
Linas Pugzlys opened to 35,000 from early position. It folded to the start-of-day chipleader Nandor Solyom in the small blind who three-bet to 126,000. Traian Bostan was in the big blind and he cold four-bet all-in for 1,321,000.
Pugzlys folded and Solyom, after some consideration, slammed chips down into the middle to indicate a call.

It was a cooler of monumental portions, and if either player won they would sore into the chiplead, but it was Bostan at risk.
The board ran out and Bostan doubled to 2.7 million in chips, with Solyom back to just over twenty big blinds.
The €2,200 High Roller, which started last night with 111 runners is now down to just 39. Only 15 of them will make the money though.
Two of the bigger names in the line-up - Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker and Romania's all-time money earner and only WSOP bracelet winner Alex Papazian - have both fallen by the wayside in this last level.

The board ran out giving Mustafov a pair and a flush draw. The turn was the , but the river was the giving Mustafov two pair and eliminating the overnight chipleader in 19th place.
Cristian Neicu raised to 65,000 from under the gun. Ioannis Taramas three-bet all in for 420,000 from the next position. It folded around to Anil Olgun Ozdemir in the big blind who cold-called.
Neicu asked for a count before electing to fold.
