Henning Shoves Into Vardjavand

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Out of the small blind, Toni Vardjavand raised to 26,000 and [Removed:179] called to see a flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Vardjavand continued for 16,000 and Henning called before the second barrel on the {10-Spades} turn was worth 55,000, Henning called.

The {A-Hearts} on the river slowed down the start-of-the-day chip leader and he checked, which prompted Henning to move all in for around 170,000. That was good enough to avoid a showdown, as Vardjavand let to go to lose further ground.

Wendt Jumps Into the Lead

Martin Wendt raised to 23,000 from early position and Andre Haneberg called in the hijack. On the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, Wendt checked and called a bet of 12,000 before doing so again for 26,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Wendt checked the third street in a row on the {K-Hearts} river and Haneberg made it 58,000 to go.

Wendt quickly tossed in a single chip for the call and Haneberg mucked instantly.

Grzegorz Derkowski defended his big blind against a raise by Haneberg the next hand and check-called a bet of 16,000 on the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Derkowski's check on the {3-Hearts} turn triggered a bet of 225,000 by Haneberg and Derkowski folded.

Adnan Dizdarevic moved all in for 10 big blinds soon after and flashed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Vardjavand Drops Some

Toni Vardjavand raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Andre Haneberg in the small blind carefully put together a three-bet to 73,000. Vardjavand let go and the pot was sent to Haneberg.

Soon after, Martin Wendt opened to 23,000 and Vardjavand called from one seat over. The duo checked the {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop and the {8-Clubs} turn before Wendt bet a blank river to force a quick fold from Vardjavand.

On the {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, both players checked and Wendt check-called a small delayed continuation bet on the {3-Spades} turn. Wendt then checked the {A-Hearts} on the river and Haneberg made it 22,500 to go.

Wendt called and mucked as soon as he was shown {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of aces by Haneberg.

Dizdarevic Pushes Twice
