Florian Bach, who was down to a mere 300 chips earlier, has worked that back up to more than the starting stack and just chopped a pot with Erkan Sonmez when both had a baby ace on the board of ![]()

Jan Meinberg raised to 1,600 from mid-position and was called by Sven Leu in the hijack and [Removed:65] in the big blind.

They both checked through the

on the river. Meinberg was drumming his fingers on the tables and the dealer thought he had checked. Meinberg was quick to contradict this and explained he was just trying to think about what to do. He quickly held his hands in front of him without moving anything.
After some careful consideration, he decided to bet 5,000. Leu looked at his chips, grabbed some 5,000-value chips and then raised to 15,000. Meinberg, who had his cards in front of him, neatly next to each other, put his hole cards on top of each other and then put them over the line to fold.

from 5,600 to 17,500 against Martin Wendt and forced a fold from the Dane. One table over, Aleksandar Tomovic built his stack without showdown while Emanuele De Lemmi joined the rail.
After giving up a four-way hand on the flop against Hamza Miri, he shoved for the last 15,500 and Miri tank-called after plenty of consideration.

In a pot of about 6,600, both Erkan Sonmez and [Removed:65] were involved. The flop read ![]()

and [Removed:72] had check-called the 2,200 bet of Sonmez.
The
came on the turn and [Removed:72] check-called again when Sonmez had bet but now for an amount of 5,000.
The river completed the board with the
, [Removed:72] checked once more. Now Sonmez bet 11,700 which meant that if [Removed:72] called and lost, he would have about 1 or 2 big blinds left. So [Removed:72] went into the tank and cut out the chips he needed if he wanted to make the call. Unhappily he looked at the board again and at what he still had behind if he made the call. In the end, he folded.

The cards were all but rushed away and Daniel Montagnolli left his table with a mix of pain and smile, then delivered the details of his final hand. According to Montagnolli, Toni Vardjavand three-bet on the button and Montagnolli called in the small blind.
On a ![]()

flop, Montagnolli bet and called the shove of Vardjavand with pocket nines to see the latter turn over ![]()

May 2015. The month and year that a PokerStars event first took place in Hamburg, and specifically in Casino Schenefeld. The inaugural German Eureka Poker Tour event was a great success and so we returned last year to rinse and repeat. And here we are again for a third year but under a different guise. The Eureka Poker is no more but nothing has been lost and we return under the PokerStars Festival banner.
