An armada from Denmark has made it to Hamburg to participate in the High Roller and among the biggest names from those is Peter Jaksland. The Dane was up mid way through the day but has since dropped back below starting stack.

Thanat Chinphanitkit eventually lost the battle with his short stack while Hamza Miri confirmed the elimination of Saulius Veckys. The Lithuanian min-raised to 2,400 from under the gun and picked up several callers including Thang Duc Nguyen. On a flop, only Nguyen called the continuation bet before snap-calling the shove of the Lithuanian on a turn with pocket queens.

Veckys had aces and failed to spike his two outer.

Nguyen soon after moved all in on the flop to force out Adnan Dizdarevic and Miri joked "flush draw or queens again?" Nguyen didn't show his cards this time.

The field has been reduced to just 38 hopefuls and among those to bust recently were Mick Heder, Peter Jaksland, Adnan Dizdarevic, Hamza Miri and Söhnke Jahn.

Miri ended up second-best with ace-king against the ace-jack of Thang Duc Nguyen while Jahn shoved for his last 19,400 from the cutpff. [Removed:179] reluctantly called out of the big blind and the cards were tabled.
