Rundström Doubles Through Pauls

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Ulrich Pauls raised to 150,000 from the hijack to be met by a shove by Bo Rundström on the button. Pauls asked how much it was for. Rundström said it was 555,000. Pauls counted out calling chips and put them in front of him but not over the line yet. After a few seconds he threw one chip over the line to indicate a call.

Bo Rundström: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Ulrich Pauls: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} - Pauls had an open-ended straight draw on the turn but the river didn't pose any danger for Rundström as he doubled up.

Andrei Nodea Eliminated in 6th Place (€22,770)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Andrei Nodea
Andrei Nodea

Behzad Zarnegar limped from the hijack and Michal Lubas did so from the cutoff, Ulrich Pauls called on the button. Andrei Nodea raised to 1,050,000 with 75,000 behind in the small blind and Bo Rundström in the big blind gave it some thought. The Swede counted his stack carefully and elected to fold.

Zarnegar moved all in for more than 1.6 million and that forced out Lubas and Pauls, while Nodea called and immediately asked "do you have aces?"

Andrei Nodea: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Behzad Zarnegar: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

Nodea picked up some chop outs but eventually fell short of the miracle on a board of {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to join the rail in 6th place for €22,770. After all was done and dusted, Rundström said in table chat that he folded pocket nines.
