After a total of four starting days, the 2017 PokerStars Festival Hamburg €1,100 Main Event has comfortably surpassed the initial guaranteed prize pool of €500,000 thanks to an additional 114 entries in the turbo re-entry Day 1d, creating a prize pool of €549,990 here at Casino Schenefeld.
Only 213 players remain in contention to become the new PokerStars Festival Main Event champion and more than half of them will leave the tables empty-handed, as just the top 79 spots are guaranteed to take home at least €1,870 for their efforts. Leading the field of survivors is Rudolf Köster with 258,000 followed by 1b chip leader Matthias Rauscher (241,000), [Removed:321] Qusim (232,700) and Michal Lubas (222,000) are close behind.
Other notables still in contention with a big stack upon restart include 1c chip leader Johann Kroon (214,200), 1d chip leader Behzad Zarnegar (191,600), Francois Mittertreiner (188,900), Roberto Manfredi (157,000), Ali Sameeian (145,500), WSOP bracelet winner Adrian Apmann (136,700), UKIPT5 Isle of Man champion Daniel Stacey (130,200) and Andrey Andreev (112,900).
The red spade will be represented by PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki (26,800) and Team Online's Felix Schneiders (22,100), but both have a lot of work ahead for today after bagging up fewer than the starting stack on Day 1c.
