Quads for Rundström

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Ulrich Pauls gave up a pot against Behzad Zarnegar and soon after raised to 60,000 from the small blind, Zarnegar called in the big blind. Both checked down the board of {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Pauls showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Zarnegar scooped the pot with {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Pauls raised to 57,000 on the button and Bo Rundström defended the big blind. There was no betting action on the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board and Rundström turned over {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} for quads much to the surprise to the entire rail.

Stacey Doubles Another One Up

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Daniel Stacey raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and action folded to Igor Rybak in the big blind who has been wielding a short stack from the start of today. Rybak shoved for 97,000 in total. Stacey called.

Igor Rybak: {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Daniel Stacey: {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} - Rybak flopped a straight immediately and the turn nor the river didn't change anything for the outcome. Rybak was stood up during the hand but sat back down as he collected the pot.

Igor Rybak Eliminated in 15th Place (€5,660)

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Igor Rybak
Igor Rybak

Igor Rybak shoved all in from early position. Behzad Zarnegar was sitting in the cutoff and asked for a count, the dealer complied and counted Rybak's stack. He confirmed it was 202,000 in total. Zarnegar called.

PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki (big blind) looked at his cards and then at his own stack. He decided to shove too. Zarnegar looked at his own cards again with a bit of regret on his face and then quickly flashed his cards to the table as he folded his hand. An ace could be spotted while he did that.

Marcin Horecki: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Igor Rybak: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} - Horecki paired his ace up on the river to deal the final blow of Rybak and send him to the rail. Rybak finished in 15th place today.

Nodea Shoves Into Steinfeuer

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Ulrich Pauls raised to 62,000 and Daniel Stacey called on the button, as did Marcin Horecki in the small blind. On the {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop the action checked to Stacey and he bet 120,000, which only Pauls called. The {K-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river were checked and Pauls claimed the pot with {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

[Removed:431] raised to 50,000 first to act and picked up two callers in Andrei Nodea from the small blind and Jan Sigel in the big blind. The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Steinfeuer, who bet 150,000. Nodea was the sole caller and checked again the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Steinfeuer bet 325,000 and Nodea moved all in for more than 1.0 million, forcing a quick and very frustrated fold from Steinfeuer.

Marcin Horecki won another small pot against Peter Jaksland when the latter check-called a bet of 101,000 on the {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} river and mucked to the {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} of Horecki.

Michal Lubas: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
[Removed:431]: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

Lubas had an overpair and Steinfeuer was hoping for a diamond to stay in the tournament. The dealer turned around the {9-Spades} and the {3-Hearts} to complete the board. No help for Steinfeuer as he was sent to the rail in 14th place.
