The board read and Thanat Chinphanitkit had bet 3,800 from the small blind in a pot which seemed to be substantial already. Sergej Barbarez who was seated in middle position called.

Ahmad Ahmadi limped in from the under-the-gun position and so did Merad Meladze from early position. Igor Rybak raised to 1,100 from mid-position and action folded to Bennet Schmidt in the big blind who three-bet to 2,300. Ahmadi got out of the way quickly but both Meladze and Rybak called.

When the table and the dealer pointed out that Rybak had rivered a flush, he left the table while cursing out loud and walked away to another table to tell his friend what had happened.
