Albert Paik Eliminated in 24th Place (₩3,640,000)

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Albert Paik
Albert Paik

Action folded around to Albert Paik in the cutoff and he shoved for 76,000. After a bit of thought, Taehoon Han called from the button to put Paik at risk. The blinds got out of the way and the two players tabled their hands.

Paik: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Han: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Paik had the preflop advantage with the better ace, but the flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} to pair Han's ten and give him the lead. The {A-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river were no help to Paik and Han took the pot to send him to the cage.

Janik bet 16,000 and his opponent check-raised to 56,000. Janik jammed and the big blind called to put him at risk.

Janik: {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Big blind: {8-}{7-Clubs}

Both players had flopped two pair but Janik had the best of it with top and bottom against his opponent's bottom two. The {2-Clubs} turn and {3-Clubs} river changed nothing and Janik took the pot to double up.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and the big blind checked. Noda shoved to put his opponent to a decision for the remainder of his stack, which was approximately 160,000, and he quickly called.

Noda: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Big blind: {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Noda was behind his opponent's turned two pair but could improve with a ten, queen, or club to take the pot, so he had quite a few outs. The {9-Clubs} river was one of them and Noda took the pot with a queen-high flush to eliminate his opponent.
