Strong Busts Mancin

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante
Rodrigo Strong
Rodrigo Strong

On the flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Mauro Maura Mancin checked to Rodrigo Strong and the latter bet 3,100 from the button into a pot of around double. Mancin eventually raised to 7,125 and left exactly 15,000 behind. Strong called and the duo then saw the {K-Clubs} on the turn.

Mancin checked and Strong bet 8,100. Mancin gave it some thought and moved all in after a minute of consideration, Strong quickly called with the superior stack.

Mauro Maura Mancin: {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Rodrigo Strong: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The {5-Spades} on the river was already meaningless and Mancin was eliminated.

Overflowing With High Rollers

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

There are currently 114 entries as the tournament approaches the first break with more still joining, including Ludovic Geilich.

The main room is buzzing and filled up now so new players are being seated in an adjacent poker room.

Big Call by Rabalison

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the flop of {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}, Antonio German bet 1,500 in the small blind and [Removed:393] called in the cutoff. The {5-Clubs} o the turn saw another bet worth 2,400 by German and Rabalison called before the {10-Spades} on the river completed a possible flush draw.

German made it 6,200 to go and Rabalison splashed his chips around while contemplating about the decision. Eventually, he called and German turned over {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a bluff. Rabalison had {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for fives and sevens and that scooped the pot.

Middle Pair Takes It

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Four players went to a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and it was checked around before the dealer put out a {6-Clubs} turn card.

It was checked to Milcho Angelov who bet 2,300 and picked up one caller in Ian Nelson. The river card was the {4-Diamonds} and Nelson checked as did Angelov.

Nelson had missed with his {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and a slightly surprised Angelov showed the winning {10-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Big Double for Boyko

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the three-way flop of {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Yuriy Boyko bet 600 out of the big blind and the player in under the gun called. On the button, John Macnair raised to 2,600 and Boyko called, the third player in the hand folded.

After the {8-Spades} turn, Boyko checked and Macnair bet 8,000. This sent Boyko in the think tank and Macnair was about to call the clock on his opponent when the all in announcement came from Boyko. Macnair quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Yuriy Boyko: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
John Macnair: {Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs} on the river paired the board and Boyko doubled for 21,050, leaving his opponent very short. Macnair asked staff if he could enter again and that was confirmed - a single re-entry is allowed for this High Roller event.

Up to Almost 100 Entries

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

The main tournament area at the Hippodrome Casino is almost filled, as 11 tables are up and running. The field has grown to almost 100 entries while a few further players are waiting for the next table to open.

Rodrigo Strong was in Marrakech a few days ago for the World Series of Poker Circuit stop and headed straight to London. Another big name of the international poker circuit is Adrian Mateos, who took the seat of Mitch Johnson after the Brit had been moved tables.

Morten Mortensen and Robert Heidorn are also already in the field as well.

Popov Vs Cody Round 2

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Slaven Popov had tangled with PokerStars Team Pro Jake Cody in level one and he was facing off against him again just now with the board reading {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Cody bet 1,600 and Popov called. The river was the {6-Spades} and Cody bet 2,100. Popov thought long and hard, giving Cody several long stares without seeming to get a read. In the end Popov did call and Cody instantly mucked. Popov collected the pot without having to show his cards.
