Several players opted to jump in at the last minute as the registration officially closed with the start of level seven. However, all alternates that bought in already will be seated if possible. The two PokerStars Team Pros Jake Cody and Liv Boeree were among the new faces, as were Paul-Francois Tedeschi and Adrien Allain.

, Karim Souaid led for 2,500 out of the big blind and Guillem Cusco Bach raised to 8,000. Souaid quickly called and checked again the 
river. Both players were the far biggest stacks at the table and Bach then bet 18,500 from the hijack. Souaid gave it some thought and checked the stack, but elected to fold with around 57,000 behind.
