Bubble Burst, Money Split!

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Three Bubble Boys
Three Bubble Boys

A crazy bubble phase has ended with three players out at the same time!. The clock was stopped two players before the money. In the last hand, no less than four players found themselves at the brink of elimination.

The first player at risk was Daniel Heidelbacher. After a player had shoved from the cutoff, Heidelbacher called all-in from the big blind holding {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The player at the cutoff had {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and remained ahead to knock out Heidelbacher.

At the second table, Pietro Parrino was all-in with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} against {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on a {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board. The turn {9-Spades} was safe, but the dreaded {5-Spades} fell on the river to send Parrino to the rail.

The action at the third table was furious. On a {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, Marko Tiedmann open-shoved, a player called, then Leonardo Romeo reshoved all in. The player who called then open-folded {7-}{7-} (!), but his soul read was correct as Romeo opened up {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}!

Incredulously, Tiedmann held {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for bottom set! For the second time this tournament, a set over set over set had flopped. Tiedmann needed a one-outer to survive but didn't find it on the {4-Hearts} turn or {2-Hearts} river.

Over at the feature table, a player was all in with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} against Dave Kroon with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, but this time the all-in player survived by spiking an ace on the flop.

Three players went out in the same hand and they each received €511 for splitting the first cash. Wow!

Lautwein Doubles Up

Danielle Lautwein
Danielle Lautwein

Down to her last 42,000, Danielle Lautwein picked up {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and quickly shoved all in. Another short stacked player who slightly covered her called with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to put Lautwein at risk.

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Lautwein doubled up. The short stacked player busted shortly after and just missed out on the money.
