Rustam Kuliev Doubles Up

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

An early position limp led to six players seeing a flop of {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}

Dmitrii Katalymov liked the look of the flop enough to bet 1,500 and that got a call from Rustam Kuliev.

Arthur Danilov though raised to 6,500 which got a fold from Katalymov but Kuliev called the bet leaving 9,000 behind.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Danilov bet enough to put Kuliev all in and he called it off.

Danilov had flopped a set with his {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} but Kuliev had turned a straight with his {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

The river {q-Spades} failed to pair the board and so Kuliev got a double up to survive.

Ivan Miheev Makes Quads in Three-way All In

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Five players saw a flop of {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. It checked to Denis Kouchner who bet 1,600. Ivan Miheev was in the next position and called. Two players folded before Evgeniy Atzhanov raised all in. Kouchner went all in for a similar amount and Miheev then went all in for slightly less.

Evgeniy Atzhanov: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Denis Kouchner: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Ivan Miheev: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Miheev was the effective stack after having flopped top set. Kouchner's aces were behind, with Atzhanov looking for a heart to complete his flush.

The turn locked up the hand for Miheev coming the {k-Diamonds} to give him Quads. The river was the {3-Diamonds} with Kouchner winning the small side pot between him and Atzhanov.

Andrey Andreev On the Comeback Trail

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Andrey Andre

Ivan Miheev opened the action for 1,100 and got a call from Andrey Andreev before Ivan Umnikov made it 3,600 from the button.

Not too much folding here today and Miheev and Andreev duly stuck in the calling chips.

All three of them checked it down to the river of a board reading {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and it was time to show cards.

Miheev: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Andreev: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Umnikov: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The pair of tens for Andreev was good enough to scoop the pot and he went on to win a small pot without showdown in the next hand.

Andreev was down to 16,000 not too long ago but is riding his rush at the moment.
