Andrey Kotelnikov Gets a Fold from Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

The board at the river read {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} with just over 50,000 in the pot.

It was a blind-on-blind confrontation with Andrey Kotelnikov in the small and Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the big.

Kotelnikov bet 35,000 and Troyanovskiy rested his head in his hand as he riffled chips and decided what to do before letting this one go.

As the next hand began Troyanovskiy muttered something in Kotelnikov’s ear which got a little laugh in response.

Rinat Yenkov Shoving for Profit

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Rinat Yenkov seems to have moved all in preflop with an alarming frequency but he has yet to find a caller.

There were a few open shoves that got through when he started the day with a 35,000 stack and one where he managed to bust Konstantin Puchkov.

Now his stack is much bigger and he is forcing a few frustrated folds.

Just now Alexsandr Lashtopa opened from the button and Yenkov shoved from the big blind. Lashtopa got the count of 70,000 before a short exchange of words saw Yenkov shrug and Lashtopa fold.

No One Likes Being Three-Bet

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mikhail Sokolovsky opened for 9,000 from the button and Tuzariya Dzukayaev three-bet to 25,000 from the big blind.

Anger flashed across the face of Sokolovsky as he folded and slammed down his {a-Hearts} but did not show his kicker. Dzukayaev turned over his {5-Clubs} which got a few laughs from a couple of players.

Shortly after it was Oleg Suharev in the small blind who opend for 10,000 and after a brief think Cenk Nigbolu moved all in.

Suharev shook his head in frustration and folded his {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} face up.

Konstantin Puchkov Eliminated

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Rinat Yenkov moved all in from mid-position for 36,500 and it folded to Konstantin Puchkov in the big blind who had fewer chips and called.

Yenkov: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Puchkov: {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Puchkov at least had live cards but the best hand held up and hit to eliminate Puchkov who may well try his luck in the 4 p.m. High Roller.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy Three-Bets Andrey Kotelnikov

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

If Vladimir Troyanovskiy could choose one seat in the Day 2 draw it would likely be to the immediate left of the chip leader Andrey Kotelnikov and after his original table broke that is exactly where he has found himself.

Kotelnikov opened for 6,500 from early position and Troyanovskiy three-bet to 17,000. The rest of the players folded

The flop was {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and a check from Kotelnikov saw a 15,000 bet from Troyanovskiy which took the pot.

Could this pattern be repeated throughout the day as two big stacks tangle with each other?
