Leo Fernandez
Leo Fernandez

With approximately 10,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}, the small blind checked, PokerStars Team Pro Leo Fernandez checked from the big blind, Hugo Zanotti bet 5,100 from middle position, and Marcelo Bonanata, who was next to act, called. The small blind folded and Fernandez check-raised to 15,000. Zanotti folded and after tanking for over two minutes, Bonanata called.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Fernandez checked. Bonanata checked behind.

The {K-Spades} fell on the river and Fernandez checked. Bonanata bet 15,000 and Fernandez check-raised all-in, putting Bonanata to a decision for 77,400 which was almost his entire stack. He went into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called. Before tournament staff could start the countdown, Bonanata called. Fernandez flipped over {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for tens full of threes which beat Bonanata's {8-Spades}{6-Spades}, so he took the pot to double up and leave his opponent with crumbs.

Cerutti Rivers Lampropulos

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With about 9,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Alberto Cerutti was in the hijack and had already committed 5,500 chips. Maria Lampropulos was in the big blind and shoved, putting Cerutti to a decision for the remainder of his stack. Cerutti went into the tank and ultimately called.

Lampropulos: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Cerutti: {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
