The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and both players checked again.

Greenstein showed {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives, but Ramdin tabled {7-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a pair of sixes to win the pot.

Crombie Pays Off Greenstein

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

We found Kevin Crombie in middle position as the break began, having bet 5,000 on a completed board of {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Barry Greenstein made it 15,000 to go from the cutoff, and Crombie tanked into the break. After sighing and counting his stack, he flicked in a call.

Greenstein showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a boat.

"That's the only thing that made sense," Crombie said as he smiled and mucked {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} face-up. "Just couldn't give you that hand."

Players are on break.

Chadha Doubles

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Carlos Chadha has been nursing a short stack but finally found a spot to get his stack in.

He checked in the big blind on a {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, and Shawn Daniels bet 1,000 from late position. Chadha made it 2,500 after a long tank, and Daniels called. On the {k-} turn, Chadha checked and Daniels put him all in for about 4,000. Chadha called immediately with {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for trips, and he was fading only the four queens as Daniels had {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The river was safe for Chadha.

Crombie's Got the Goods

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Kevin Crombie was facing a bet of what looked like around 15,000 from an opponent in the cutoff on a {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, and he then shoved all in from middle position. His opponent sighed and called off his last 4,000 or so, only to see Crombie turn over {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} for quads. The cutoff had {a-}{k-} and was drawing stone cold dead.
