Negron Sends Maio Packing

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

On a flop of {3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Anthony Maio bet about 3,000 from middle position and got raised to 10,000 by Sridhar Sangannagari, in the cutoff. Small blind Javier Negron called, and Maio whistled before calling for slightly less. The turn {4-Hearts} got checked through and the river was a {7-Diamonds}. Negron bet 5,500 and got a call from Sangannagari, who mucked upon seeing {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a backdoor straight.

"Where's my club?" Maio said, turning {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} over for a better flush draw that missed. He wished everyone good luck.
