The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is returning to the glitz and glam of Las Vegas this November and bringing with it a $5,300 buy-in Main Event featuring a $3 million guaranteed prize pool. As was the case in 2024, the luxurious Resorts World Las Vegas is the venue for the ten-day poker spectacular.
Running from November 3-12, the 2025 edition of the PokerStars NAPT Las Vegas should be huge. The festival marks the first time PokerStars has run one of its Open events in "Sin City," and it has the potential to break records. Since their launch, the PokerStars Open events have obliterated their guarantees.
Shuyang Han raised to 16,000 under the gun and Barbara Rogers three-bet jammed for 134,000 in early position to put herself at risk. It folded back around to Han who quickly called.
Barbara Rogers: A♦10♠
Shuyang Han: A♥K♥
The flop came 9♥7♦5♣ with Han still in the lead with ace-king. Rogers picked up a gutshot on the 6♥ turn and drilled it on the 8♠ river to secure the double up.
Roie Sheskin raised to 16,000 in middle position, John Mayo three-bet to 48,000 in the hijack, and Nicholas Verderamo cold four-bet to 85,000 on the button.
Sheskin quickly folded, while Mayo went into the tank, counting out his chips to see how much he had behind.
Mayo eventually tossed his cards into the muck and Verderamo flashed A♠A♥ as he scooped the pot.
Mayo mentioned that he folded pocket nines.
Kashka Corpening limped in the hijack and Michael Bohmerwald moved all in for 74,000 in the cutoff to put himself at risk. Arthur Zabronsky called in the small blind and Corpening got out of the way.
Michael Bohmerwald: A♦Q♣
Arthur Zabronsky: A♠J♥
Bohmerwald improved to two pair on the A♣Q♥K♥ flop but Zabronsky still had outs with a gutshot.
The 4♠ turn and J♠ river was safe for Bohmerwald, earning him the double up.
Level: 18
Blinds: 4,000/8,000
Ante: 8,000
Action went heads-up to a flop of 8♥5♥A♦ in a hand between Paul Lilly in middle position and Arthur Zabronsky in the big blind.
Both players checked to the 2♣ turn where Zabronsky led out with a pot-sized bet of 33,000. Lilly called and the 9♥ landed on the river, completing straight and flush draws.
Zabronsky bet 33,000 again and Lilly quickly called, tabling A♣J♣ for a pair of aces to best the Q♦3♦ of Zabronsky.
Brian Winter open-shoved in the hijack for 67,000 to put himself at risk and was called by Roy Kim on the button.
Brian Winter: K♦6♦
Roy Kim: A♣J♥
Winter found some help on the 8♦J♠10♦ flop, picking up a flush draw, but was unable to get there as the board ran out 2♣, 9♥.
Action went five-ways to a flop of 9♦Q♠10♣ with 66,00 in the pot and everyone checked to the 9♠ turn.
David Olshan led out for 17,000 in the small blind and it folded around to Melanie Hennigan on the button who made the call.
The J♥ river brought four cards to a straight and Olshan slowed down with a check. Hennigan elected to check back.
Hennigan turned over 9♣7♣ for trip nines, besting the A♠J♣ of Olshan.
