Top Pair for Breuil

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A pot of around 230,000 had brewed by the river on a board of Q9632, in a hand between Julien Breuil on the button and Ferdinando D'Alessio in the big blind.

D'Alessio check-called a bet of 100,000 from Breuil, but mucked when Breuil tabled AQ for top pair queens.

Peters Can't Raise Ace-High Flush

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

Tobias Peters opened to 24,000 under the gun, and Simone Demasi defended in the big blind.

The 1098 flop was checked through to the A turn, where Demasi check-called a bet of 35,000 from Peters.

The 7 river brought one-card up-and-down straight flush possibilities, and Demasi led out with a blocker sized bet of 30,000. Peters made the call, and tabled AQ for the ace-high flush.

Demasi had 86 for the low end of the straight, and Peters scooped the pot.

Stefan Kiwisch
Stefan Kiwisch

A big pot of 220,000 had developed by the river on a board of 98454, in a hand between Fabri Cardenia in early position and Stefan Kiwisch in the small blind.

Kiwisch led out with a bet of 155,000, and seemed surprised when Cardenia jammed for 315,000. Kiwisch asked for a count, and after around two minutes of thought, Kiwisch made the call.

Cardenia tabled 55 for the rivered full house, and Kiwisch nodded and tabled 76 for the straight, as he counted out his debt to Cardenia.

Full House for Slila

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Kader Slila
Kader Slila

In a hand that took close to ten minutes to complete, Simone Demasi opened to 25,000 under the gun, and received calls from Vilmos Farkas and Kader Slila in the blinds.

The 1094 flop was eventually checked through to the 3 turn, where Farkas led out with a bet of 20,000, which failed to shake off either opponent.

The 9 river completed the board. Farkas fired again with a downsized bet of 30,000, and Slila responded with a raise to 115,000. Demasi ultimately folded after a large period of thought, and after more deliberation, Farkas called.

He was shown the bad news when Slila tabled 33 for the turned full house.

Albert Hoekendijk opened to 30,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 110,000 from Evert Rosseel in the next seat.

Action folded back to Hoekendijk, who quickly four-bet jammed for his 240,000 total stack. He was dismayed to see Rosseel make a snap-call.

Evert Rosseel: AA

Rosseel had woken up with the goods, and Hoekendijk was drawing dead by the turn on the 10991010 runout.
