Five players saw a flop of A♠10♦7♣, with action checked to Erwin Vu Duc, who fired out a bet of 100,000 from the cutoff, which only Djamal Boutaleb called from the button.
The 6♦ hit on the turn, and Vu Duc fired out a bet of 250,000, leading to a relatively swift fold from Boutaleb.
Dotan Kelijman opened to 40,000 from middle position, before Robert Douras three-bet jammed from the button for 320,000.
Alexandru Danes was in the big blind, and he took some time to think before cold four-bet jamming with the covering stack. Kelijman got out of the way after a brief period of thought.
Robert Douras: K♣Q♣
Alexandru Danes: Q♥Q♠
Douras was in trouble with a single overcard to Danes' pocket queens, and the 7♣7♦3♦2♦5♦ runout contained no surprises, sending a monster pot to the Frenchman.
There was 900,000 in the middle on a board of Q♠9♥7♣7♥, and Sasa Maksic fired out a bet of 255,000 from early position.
His opponent, Djamal Boutaleb, moved all-in for around 900,000 total. Maksic went into the tank but ultimately made the call.
Sasa Maksic: A♠Q♦
Djamal Boutaleb K♠K♦
Maksic was in trouble, his two pair queens and sevens no good versus Boutaleb's kings and sevens. The 6♠ river was a brick to send a huge pot to Boutaleb.
Julien Breuil opened to 40,000 from middle position, and received calls from Djamal Boutaleb on the button, and Gertjan Albers and Noortje Verstegen in the blinds.
The K♣Q♥Q♦ flop was checked to Breuil, who fired out a bet of 40,000 - only Albers called.
The 7♣ turn was checked through to the 10♣ river, where Albers led out with a bet of 65,000. After a brief period of thought, Breuil folded and Albers tabled K♦Q♠ for the flopped full house.
Gertjan Albers opened to 35,000 from early position, and received a call from Philippe Ktorza on the button, before Julien Breuil produced a three-bet to 155,000 from the small blind. Both of his opponents called.
On the A♦6♦6♠ flop, Breuil continued with a bet of 165,000, which only Albers called.
The 4♥ hit on the turn, and Breuil asked to see Albers remaining stack before jamming with the covering stack.
Albers looked pained and went deep into the tank, counting out his chips and looking downwards at the table, not looking at his opponent at all.
After about three minutes, Breuil said "You can't fold, no", but Albers didn't even glance up at his rival. Eventually Ktorza called the clock as Albers seemed unable to make a decision.
"Thank you" said Albers, and just before the tournament director arrived to begin the count, Albers got rid of his hand.
