Rogers Shows a Winner

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Norman Rogers opened to 120,000 in the cutoff, with Frank Funaro calling in the small blind and Edric Nicoli coming along in the big blind.

All three players checked the 85A flop, with Funaro and Nicoli checking again after seeing the J turn.

Rogers slid out a bet of 80,000 and Funaro was the only caller. Funaro checked one last time on the 8 river and Rogers checked it back.

"Jack," said Funaro.

"Ace," replied Rogers as he showed A9 to claim the pot.
