Picinic Pressures Chu

Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Dominic Picinic opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Tao Chu responded with a three-bet to 10,500 in middle position. Action folded back around to Picinic, who made the call.

Picinic then checked the 928 flop and Chu continued for 10,000. The call was made and the 3 turn was revealed. Another check from Picinic saw Chu count out a bet of 22,500.

After taking a few minutes, Picinic announced all in. That was enough to take down the pot, as Chu slid his cards into the muck.

Level 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Michael Mann
Michael Mann

Action was three-way to the K25 flop, where Michael Mann fired a bet of 3,500.

Calvin Kelleher responded by moving all in for 23,000, producing a fold from Thomas Hanley on his left. Mann then took some time before tossing in the call.

Calvin Kelleher: KJ All in
Michael Mann: 65

Kelleher's pair of kings was in the lead, maintaining that advantage through the 8 turn. The table gasped as the 6 hit the river, giving Mann two pair sending Kelleher to the rail.

"I Knew You Had It"

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Richard Hartman
Richard Hartman

Kyle Barrett opened to 1,200 on the button before Richard Hartman slid out a three-bet to 5,500 in the small blind. Barrett made the call and the 6Q10 flop hit the felt.

Hartman checked to Barrett, who continued for 3,500. After a moment, Hartman check-raised to 11,500 and Barrett called.

The dealer flipped over the 7 turn, where Hartman announced all in and Barrett tossed in the call.

Richard Hartman: AQ All in
Kyle Barrett: KQ

"I knew you had it, I just couldn't fold" said Barrett after seeing Hartman's ace kicker. The 7 river changed nothing, as Hartman earned the double-up.

"Good hand," Barrett continued as Hartman raked in the pot.

2025 PokerStars EPT Monte-Carlo Festival Starts April 30

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
EPT Monte Carlo
EPT Monte Carlo

One of the most eagerly anticipated stops on the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) is almost upon us: the EPT Monte-Carlo festival. Running from April 30 through May 10, the 2025 PokerStars EPT Monte-Carlo takes place, as always, at the luxurious Sporting Monte-Carlo. The stop marks the 20th year since PokerStars first took the EPT to the legendary Principality.

This year's EPT Monte-Carlo bursts into action with the inaugural €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event. The PokerStars Open are a set of six standalone stops plus two Open Main Events at EPT Barcelona and Monte-Carlo, each with a €1/£1 million guaranteed prize pool.

If the recent PokerStars Open Campione Main Event is anything to go by, PokerStars Open Monte-Carlo could be huge. Last month, the €1,100 PokerStars Open Campione Main Event drew in a staggering 2,423 entrants who created a €2,326,080 prize pool. PokerStars knew their new event would be popular, but nobody expected such a massive turnout. Adrian State of Romania triumphed in Campione, turning his €1,100 investment into €363,000.
