Pedro Marques opened to 120,000 in early position and was called by Petar Kalev in the cutoff and Philipe Pizzari in the big blind. The flop came {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Marques continued with a bet of 225,000 which both opponents called.

The {3-Hearts} double-paired the board on the turn and Pizzari led out with a bet of 375,000. Marques folded and Kalev took some time but eventually did the same.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Philipe Pizzari
Philipe Pizzari

In the final hand before break, Philipe Pizzari opened to 110,000 from early position and Dyland Destefano three-bet to 290,000 from the next seat. Pizzari called.

Pizzari checked on the flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Destefano continued for 180,000. Pizzari check-raised to 500,000 and Destefano pushed out a stack of white 100,000 chips to put Pizzari all in. The Brazilian called off for 1,055,000 total.

Philipe Pizzari: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Dylan Destefano: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Destefano's aces were ahead as Pizzari was looking for a heart. The {4-Clubs} on the turn didn't change things, but the {6-Hearts} on the river brough a sigh out of Destefano as Pizzari made his flush to earn the big double.

It's been quite the whirlwind past two hours here inside the Baha Mar resort. Eliminations have been taken place across all tables and the action refuses to let up.

The 31 remaining players are now on a 20-minute break, so in the meantime check out the highlights from the first portion of the day:

Marques Unloads the Clip

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dylan Destefano limped in from the small blind and Pedro Marques checked his big blind. The flop fell {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Destefano check-called a bet of 160,000 from Marques.

The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Destefano checked again. Marques counted out a bet of 360,000 and Destefano still called. The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Destefano checked for the third time.

Marques used a time bank before pushing out a bet of 1,185,000, leaving just 25,000 chips behind. Destefano dipped into the tank, using three of his time banks, before releasing his cards to the muck.

Renato Minicuci opened to 110,000 from middle position before Jeremy Ausmus made it 260,000 from the hijack. Andre Marques then four-bet jammed from the big blind for 1,270,000. Minicuci folded but Ausmus, who started the hand with 1,105,000 called for his tournament life.

Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Andre Marques: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Ausmus took the lead and made two pair on the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and held to scoop after the {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} runout.

The following hand, Fedor Holz opened to 100,000 from middle position and called when Marques put in his last 165,000.

Holz had {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} while Marques woke up with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The tens held on the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} runout to get a small rebate.
