On the latest PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Connor Richards, and Matt Hansen come to you from different parts of the world. Chad is back home in Wisconsin, while Connor and Matt are over at the EPT Barcelona. They discuss Daniel Weinman's signing with Poker Royalty, Zach Gruneberg's cat missing for 43 days, and the largest WPT Prime to date. They also talk about both Allen Kessler and Daniel Lowery capturing WSOP Circuit gold rings, as well as the PokerStars Summer Series kicking off in Philadelphia.
As for a guest, this week Chad managed to get Poker Hall of Famer and sports betting legend Billy Baxter on the show. He talks about his recent induction into the Sports Gambling Hall of Fame, what it was like to make a deep run in the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Seniors Event (he finished as runner-up), and remembers how Doyle Brunson fared as a sports bettor. Baxter is a master storyteller, so you don't want to miss this chance to hear from the living legend.
Action was opened in early position to 6,000. It folded all the way to Scott Weinstein on the button who called. The small blind then announced a small three-bet to 14,000. The original raiser called and Weinstein also called.
The A♥3♦3♣ landed on the flop and the small blind continued for 14,000. The player in early position folded and Weinstein stuck around with a call.
The turn brought a 10♥ and the small blind slowed down and checked. Weinstein thought it over for a moment and then put out a larger bet to the tune of 25,000.
The small blind sat in the tank for about a minute before announcing a fold. Weinstein dragged the three-bet pot on his way to a healthy stack.

Action was opened under the gun to 8,000. John Cipriano was on the button and three-bet 18,000. Action folded back to the original raiser who announced all in. Cipriano snap called.
The cards hit their backs.
Under the Gun: K♣J♣
John Cipriano: A♣K♠
The J♥4♥2♣ catapulted the under-the-gun player into the lead. The 3♠ turn was fairly safe but the 5♣ river would give Cipriano the straight and the victory. He holds the current chip lead as the bubble approaches.
