There have been captivating stories flying in every direction so far throughout the World Championship of Online Poker 2020, but this one, in particular, stands out.
The last time we spoke with Kevin “Care_Teddy” van Veen of the Netherlands, he had won a MicroMillions event, turning $4.40 into $30K during his debut Twitch stream.
Well, he was back on our radar late last week when he won a WCOOP side event for $2,273.12 in an $11 Showtime Hold’em 6-Max event. In terms of being an official WCOOP champion, van Veen was close but no cigar.
This are the players leading the pack in the final level of the evening.

Just a couple of short years ago, only one player had accumulated five WCOOP titles.
Since then, the picture has changed quite a lot.
Two excellent MTT pros have now taken the lead, both with insane scores – one player has nine WCOOP titles, and another has eight.
With the WCOOP 2020 upon us, all could change again over the coming weeks, but it’s going to take nothing less than a legendary run if anyone is to join the top of the pack.
So as we look forward to the Series, here are the players who have won the most WCOOP titles so far. You’ll also find out who that five-time winner was.
Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank raised to 10,000 from middle position and "magiet12" called from the cutoff.
Action folded to "Venividi1993" who three-bet to 44,0000 from the small blind and both opponents called to see a flop.
"Venividi1993" continued for 136,000 and that was good enough to take down the pot as both opponents mucked their hands.
