The $1,000,000 guarantee attracted 614 entries to generate a $1,228,000 prize pool, with $214,339 available to the winner.
Germany’s Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic finished a wild Day 1 as chip leader and 78 others will return on Monday August 30 to make a run at the final table. Other notable players to advance to Day 2 were Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, Tauan "kylix42" Naves, and Arsenii "josef_shvejk" Karmatckii. Vanessa "Niffller" Kade and Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle survived the end of Day 1 with short stacks and they will return tomorrow to try and spin them up and take a shot at making Day 3.
