Wilson Induces Shove With Set

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ashok Muniganti was deep in the tank after his bet of 8,000 had been raised to 20,000 by William Wilson. The board read {q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Muniganti was motionless with his head down and headphones on. After several moments the clock was called by another player at the table. The floor came over and began a countdown and Muniganti went all in after about ten seconds of the countdown.

Wilson snap called and showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a set of queens and Muniganti showed his bluff with the {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The river was the {a-Clubs} and Wilson welcomed the new chips to his stack.

Leitch Stays Alive, Chips Up

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Matthew Leitch and another player were all in pre-flop and a third player who had the largest stack was considering the call.

After a few moments he called with the chance to knock out two opponents.

Leitch had {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} against two pocket pairs, the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} of the shorter stack and the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} of the larger stack.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to give Leitch the pot to revive his once very short stack according to the table.

Stambaugh Hits Ace to Beat Kings

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Gregory Stambaugh held {a-}{q-} pre-flop against {k-}{k-} of Justin Stonehill. The flop launched Stambaugh into the lead as it came {3-}{7-}{a-}, the turn {2-} and the river {9-} did not help the kings and Stambaugh took the pot from the larger stack of Stonehill.

"Back to where I started" said Stambaugh with a laugh as he pulled in the pot.

Michaliga Gets Double Up

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante

Joseph Michaliga doubled up when his {a-Hearts}{q-} was the best hand on a board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Unfortunately, we didn't catch the hand of his opponent, which had already been mucked. The dealer counted out the amount and sent him his newly won chips.
