Gregg Eliminated

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tony Gregg
Tony Gregg

Tony Gregg's rough day came to a conclusion as he lost consecutive pots.

In the first hand, he was in a battle with Dustin Semonavick. Gregg defended from the big blind after Semonavick raised to 20,000. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Both players checked. The turn was the {5-Spades}. Gregg bet 52,000 and was called. The river came the {j-Spades}. Gregg fired again for 67,000. Semonavick moved all in and Gregg folded.

The very next hand. Gregg was all in preflop with {9-}{9-} against the {q-}{q-} of Kevin Kwak. The board ran out {a-}{k-}{j-}{q-}{6-} and Gregg was eliminated after a turbulent day that never saw him get anything going after beginning the day high in chips.

O'Hara moved all in which caused Moore to think it for a while before pitching his cards and giving the pot to O'Hara.

Small Clash Between Big Stacks

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a board of {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} Farid Jattin bet 25,000 over to his opponent the other big stack in the room Dustin Semonavick who folded his hand after a couple of moments as both players have over 1 million and are seated at the same table.

Srinivasan Spills Two With Rivered Straight

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A three-way preflop all in was in progress as Shyam Srinivasan was the largest stack holding the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} up against the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of Nicholas Pham and the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} of Samy Azzam.

The flop came {5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades} to give Azzam a set but give Pham a straight draw. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and the river came the {q-Hearts} to send both Pham and Azzam home.

Azzam looked shocked, unable to believe what had just happened and his normally loquacious table presence was silenced by the river queen.

On the turn the board read {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Jeffrey Colpitts bet 50,000. Dustin Semonavick waited a moment before announcing all in. Colpitts took down his hoodie and sat back to think it out as it was a decision for his tournament life. After about a minute he put a stack of chips into the middle to indicate a call.

Semonavick showed the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Colpitts rolled over his inferior hand with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The river was a harmless {2-Spades} and Semonavick took a huge pot and eliminated Colpitts.

After waiting for several moments, Daniel Lee raised to 65,000 which Villamarin called instantly. Lee turned over the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} which was good enough to take the pot as Villamarin mucked his hand.
