Myer Flops Flush Over Flush

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Brian Myer
Brian Myer

The under-the-gun player opened to 1,200 and was called by the player in the cutoff and Brian Myer on the button.

The initial raiser continued for 2,200 on the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and action folded to Myer, who raised to 5,500. His opponent called.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and it was checked to Myer, who shoved for a bit over 20,000.

"That was a bad card," Myer's opponent said, revealing the {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} before folding.

Myer showed he had also flopped a flush with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} as he collected the pot.

Aces Good For Pollard

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Timothy Pollard
Timothy Pollard

A player in early position limped and another player in middle position raised to 2,000. The player directly behind them called and then Timothy Pollard three-bet to 7,000 from the cutoff. Only the initial raiser called.

The initial raiser checked on the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and Pollard bet 10,000. His opponent then check-raised all in for around 20,000 and Pollard called to put him at risk.

Timothy Pollard: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Middle-position player: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Pollard was well ahead, and the {4-Spades} turn and {j-Hearts} runout kept Pollard best — eliminating his opponent from contention.

Kang Calls Hitchcock Down

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Jane Hitchcock opened to 1,000 from under-the-gun and was called by Yoo Kang in middle position.

Hitchcock proceed to bet 700 on the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, 1,100 on the {9-Clubs} turn, and 2,000 on the {9-Diamonds} river and was called by Kang each time.

Hitchcock tabled {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for nines and eights, which was no good against the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of Kang for a better two pair and he collected the pot.

Mannur Gets Value

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The player under-the-gun opened to 700 and was called by the player in the hijack, Lalith Mannur in the small blind, and the big blind.

All four players checked on the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, but Mannur led out for 2,000 on the {6-Spades} turn. Only the big blind called.

The {a-Hearts} filled the river and Mannur bet again — this time for 3,000. His opponent quickly called and Mannur tabled {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, which was good as his opponent mucked.

Three-Way All in Leads to Triple up For Sabogali

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Alberto Sabogali
Alberto Sabogali

Three players ended up all-in preflop after a raising war broke out between Alberto Sabogali in the cutoff, the player on the button, and the player in the big blind.

Alberto Sabogali: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Button: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Big blind: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and {8-Diamonds} turn left Sabogali drawing to one out, as the {j-Diamonds} would give the button a flush.

A fateful {j-Hearts} completed the board, however, leaving Sabogali best with a set of jacks. Sabogali was the shortest of the three stacks with 19,700 and he tripled up.
