The flagship event of the 2026 Potomac Summer Poker Open is now underway inside the MGM National Harbor Poker Room.
The $3,000 buy-in Main Event comes with a $750,000 guarantee attached and offers two starting flights. The three-day event will play to a winner on Monday.

Just nine players remaining in $1,100 NLH and they have put their chips in bags.
Chip leader Andrew Huene leads the way with a stack of 2,265,000 as the only player with over a million.
Players will reconvene on Friday at 2 p.m. local time. Each player is guaranteed a payout of at least $3,558, while the winner will earn $35,548.

His name is battle, and he won the war. Tucker Battle was declared the winner of $400 Double Stack NLH after a heads-up deal with Jeffrey Mason that saw him winning the trophy and $6,772.
The event drew 57 runners for a prize pool of $18,810. Others at the final table included Joseph Babboni (3rd - $2,492), Jeanne Burckart (4th - $1,693), and Tanios Adi-Yashi (5th - $1,317).

The prize pool information is out for the $300 Double Board Bomb Pot PLO event.
The unique event drew 90 runners for a prize pool of $21,600. A dozen places will be paid and a minimum cash will be worth $540. Meanwhile, the winner will walk away with $6,854.
There are 40 players left, and it could be a late one as the event is scheduled to play to a winner.

He may have just chopped the $500 Monumental Stack for his first-ever poker trophy, but Andrew Chang isn't taking any time to celebrate.
Chang hopped right into the $250 Main Event satellite, where he currently sits as one of 13 players remaining and the final table approaching.
Let's see if the Virginia native can continue his day of run-good, which included drawing the ace of spades to win the trophy in the Monumental Stack.
There are 23 players remaining in the two-day $1,100 NLH, an event that surpassed the six-figure guarantee with a prize pool of $125,960.
Level 17 is currently underway and the event is scheduled to play through Level 20. Only 17 spots are paid and a minimum cash is worth $2,425.
There was a five-handed chop at a final table at the 2026 Potomac Summer Poker Open, and the shortest of the stacks ended up walking away with the trophy.
Andrew Chang had made several final tables over the last few years, but it took just one card for him to finally get his first career trophy today in the $500 Monumental Stack.
The final five players decided to have a look at the numbers before heading on dinner break, and they eventually agreed to a chop. Jack Arnal, the chip leader at the time, took the biggest share of $22,882, while Chang was the shortest stack and took $16,600. They then drew high cards for the trophy, and Chang flipped over an ace to snatch the title.
Matthew Mullins might just be the Benny Glaser of the American East Coast. The Virginian has shown his mixed game prowess this series and it's earned him back-to-back victories.
After chopping the $400 Mixed PLO heads up earlier this week, Mullins took down $400 8-Game Mix outright for $8,201, showing that he has chops in variants other than Omaha.
The event drew 72 runners for a prize pool of $23,430. Mullins defeated heads-up opponent Seun Ohulnole (2nd - $4,686), while the final table also included Robert Paul (3rd - $2,870), Andrew Pham (4th - $2,050) and Matthew Kelley (5th - $1,582).
