Registration is now closed in the $100,000 guaranteed $1,100 NLH, with the clocks showing 135 players in the field.

The field has dwindled significantly with only 43 players remaining. But far fewer should bag as the event is scheduled to play through Level 20, which should come around midnight local time.

This might be the funnest event of the 2026 Potomac Summer Poker Open.

The $300 Double Board PLO Bomb Pot event is underway and has 42 hopefuls so far.

The unique event, one recently introduced at the WSOP, involves two boards and missed preflop action as all players put in dead money and see flops.

This is a one day event, and it should play fast given the nature of PLO bomb pot games.

Deal Reached Just Before Dinner in $500 Monumental Stack

There will be no dinner break in the $500 Monumental Stack. Just as the remaining five players were about to head off on their 45-minute break, they struck an ICM deal that saw Jack Arnal claiming the top prize.

But Arnal was not the declared winner. As a matter a fact, it was the shortest stack, Andrew Chang, who was declared the winner despite being the shortest stack and receiving the smallest payout of the bunch.

Shortly after poker pro Esther Taylor signed as an ambassador for BetMGM Poker earlier this summer, she launched a poker training program aimed specifically at helping women break through in the game.

It's a cause that Taylor, who has $3.3 million in live tournament earnings, is passionate about, especially as she tries to get more women introduced to mixed games.

"You have an edge just by being a woman at the table in these male-dominated fields in a lot of ways," Taylor told PokerNews.

The $250 Main Event Super Satellite guarantees five seats to the $3,000 Main Event, which comes with a $750,000 guaranteed prize pool attached. And no need to fret if you bust out of the satellite, which offers players with $140 re-buys.

Casey Hatmaker, David Kinane and Jonathan Moritz all qualified for $500, while Roger Smith and Anthony Ambroselli got in for a fraction of that by qualifying for $50.

Final Table Time in $500 Monumental Stack

We are already down a final table in the $500 Monumental Stack with just nine players remaining.

The final table formed with the elimination of Dat Nguyen at the hands of Timothy Conrow. Nguyen's king-three couldn't pull ahead of the ace-ten of his opponent as he was sent to the payout counter to collect $2,681.
