Get ready for another day of tournament poker action here at the 2026 Potomac Summer Poker Open at MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
This morning saw the start of the $500 Seniors 50+, following up on yesterday's $330 Super Seniors 60+ that resulted in a nine-way chop.
There's also the $400 Mixed PLO event that should draw crushers of all Omaha variants.
Finally, there is the $400 NLH Single Re-Entry event, which should produce a sizable field as players are allowed one re-entry.

After the completion of the $500 Super Seniors and with the $600 Opener final table playing out, there are two more events scheduled to wrap up today.
First there is the $300 Black Chip Bounty Turbo, and next up is $500 NLH, another one day event that should wrap up in the early morning hours.

Nine winners have been named in the $500 Super Seniors event, and that's because all nine final tablists decided to chop.
The $330 buy-in event, available for players 60 and older, drew 153 entrants with a prize pool of $50,490. It was set to pay the winner $13,750.
Instead, the nine final tablists flattened out the payouts to see chip leader Phillip Murphy taking the lion's share of $6,088. Others who got in on the chop include Michael Mathers (2nd - $5,832) and Lawrence Zerolnick (3rd - $5,591).
When news of the nine-way chop reached the $600 Opener final table, Justin Arnwine claimed that he predicted that very result.
"It's 9 p.m., time for bed!" Arnwine laughed.
