Mariano Can't Beat Jacks

Level 2 : 75/150, 25 ante

Catching the action with 1,625 in the middle and the board reading {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, the player under the gun checked and Rob Mariano bet out 600.

Mariano's opponent called, and then checked the {4-Hearts} on the river.

Mariano bet 1,400 and his opponent called tabling {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} to prompt a fold from Mariano.

Nick Aguilera

Last October's Run It Up Reno Main Event Champion Nick Aguilera has just been spotted in today's tournament.

Last year Aguilera topped a 318-player field to capture the $42,830 first prize and his first recorded live cash. A very impressive way to kick off your poker career!

Early Loss for Khait

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Facing a hijack raise to 225, Anna Khait defended her big blind to see a {3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop fall.

Khait check-called a 350-chip continuation-bet before both players checked down the {8-Hearts} and {9-Clubs} on the turn and river.

Khait's opponent tabled his {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for top pair, and Khait folded.

Cause This is Thriller, Thriller Night

Welcome back to the Peppermill Resort Hotel and the 2016 Run It Up Reno festival hosted by Jason Somerville for Event 5: $235 Thursday Thrilla - Black Chip Bounty!

"'Cause this is thriller, thriller night. And no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike"

Today sees a return to a more standard poker tournament with the Thursday Thrilla taking center stage on the schedule. Each player will have a $100 bounty on their head, and if you are able to eliminate someone you will receive a $100 on top of whatever you may cash for.

Last year saw a slightly cheaper version of the event run, and it would be Robert Fein capturing the title for $2,505 while the likes of Alex Huot, Kevin O'Donnell, Brent Harrington, and Alex Lavinthal all captured their own piece of the $19,000 prizepool.

Action is set to kick off at 2:00 p.m. PDT with PokerNews providing continuous live updates until the Thursday Thrilla Champion is crowned!
