Jeremy Thury Bursts the Bubble and Grabs the Chip Lead on Day 1f of the RPT Casino State Championship
Jeremy Thury ended Day 1f of the record-setting $250 Roughrider Poker Tour Casino State Championship with a bang.
With 44 players remaining and only 43 surviving to make it to Day 2, Thury was in the big blind and shoved over the top of a preflop raise from Kevin Clyde. Clyde turned over two queens as he went deep into the tank. “I know you want to bag,” Thury told him. Clyde eventually called for his last 150,000, but Thury showed two kings and held on to bust Clyde on the bubble on his way to the chip lead with 516,000.
