Egle Stuns Schwarzkopf on the River

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Josh Egle
Josh Egle

Josh Egle and Bill Schwarzkopf saw a flop of 1083 where Egle bet 45,000 from the hijack. Schwarzkopf then moved all in for 220,000 in the big blind, and Egle called.

Bill Schwarzkopf: JJ All in
Josh Egle: K10

Schwarzkopf was ahead with his jacks as the 4 turn gave Egle more outs with a flush draw. The river was the 10 and Egle improved to trips. Schwarzkopf slammed the table in frustration before heading to the rail two spots off the money.

With 51 players remaining, action is going hand-for-hand until there is one more elimination.

Gaddis Falls to Clyde in a Cooler

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kevin Clyde had a three-bet of 75,000 in front of him before Gabe Gaddis moved all in for 250,000 from the cutoff. Clyde called to put him at risk.

Gabe Gaddis: KK All in
Kevin Clyde: AA

Gaddis had run his kings right into Clyde's aces, and the 8109210 board offered no help as he was sent to the rail.

Mikiyo Aoki was also recently eliminated.

No Chip-and-a-Chair Story For Maiffret

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Mikiyo Aoki moved all in for 52,000 in early position on the first hand of the day but received no callers.

The next hand, Lisa Maiffret put in her last 3,000 in middle position and Wade McFarlane reraised in the small blind to chase away the rest of the field.

Lisa Maiffret: A10 All in
Wade McFarlane: AQ

McFarlane hit a pair on the K9Q flop, while Maiffret was looking to complete a straight draw. The turn was the 6, while the 2 river was no help and Maiffret was the first casualty of the day.
