The championship bracelet awaits one lucky player on Day 2 of the Roughrider Poker Tour $635 Montana State Poker Championship.
Alex Powell leads the 55 players who return to the Billings Hotel & Convention Center at 11 a.m. local time to play down to a champion. Powell rocketed to the top of the leaderboard on the last hand yesterday and begins Day 2 with 1,242,000.

Others starting the day include Eric Hjelmstad (430,000), Damon Muehl (407,000), Miles Barnum (313,000), Weston Wells (309,000), Kevin Ellis (272,000), Arlie Brandvold (270,000), and Alan Curl (223,000), while Mikiyo Aoki will have to come back from a short stack of 53,000.
A total of 325 players entered over the two starting flights, building a prize pool of $175,500. The top 50 players will be in the money and guaranteed at least a min-cash of $1,200, while a spot at the final table is worth $4,000. The champion will take home $30,000 and the bracelet.

The action on Day 2 begins on Level 16 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and a 10,000 big blind ante. Levels remain 40 minutes until heads-up play, when they will be reduced to 30 minutes.
