Perkerewicz Runs Into Bowen's Kings
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
With around 40,000 in the pot going to a flop of J♠4♣Q♠, Richard Perkerewicz bet 25,000 from the big blind before Jeff Bowen moved all in from the small blind. Perkerewicz quickly called for 80,000.
Richard Perkerewicz: A♠Q♣
Jeff Bowen: K♣K♥
Perkerewicz showed top pair, but he needed help against Bowen's kings. The 9♦ turn kept Bowen in the lead, while the 3♠ completed the board on the river and Perkerewicz was sent to the rail.
