Ellis Tripes in Spectacular Fashion
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Kevin Ellis, Leonard Burke, and Virgil Taylor went to the turn on a board of 4♥4♠10♦J♣ with around 15,000 in the pot. Ellis then got in his last 22,000 from the hijack, Burke reshoved in the cutoff for 45,000, and Taylor put both players at risk in middle position.
Burke showed A♣Q♠ for a straight draw, but he was already drawing dead as Taylor turned over 10♥10♠ for a flopped full house. But Taylor had just one out, for Ellis showed 4♦4♣ for flopped quads. The river was the J♠ and Ellis took the pot to triple up, while Burke was sent to the rail.
