Aoki Lying in Wait For Brunelle
Level 13
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Pat Brunelle raised to 13,000 in early position and Mikiyo Aoki called in the big blind.
The flop came 4♠4♦8♠ and Brunelle bet 21,000. Aoki called, and the 10♣ fell on the turn.
Brunelle then moved all in for 80,000, and Aoki snap-called. Brunelle showed J♣J♠, but Aoki had flopped trips with A♦4♥. The river was the Q♣ and Brunelle was sent to the rail.
