Asher Survives a Big Flip
Level 25
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Andrew Asher raised to 250,000 in the small blind before Jeff Heiberg three-bet to 750,000 in the big blind. Asher then moved all in for 3,400,000, and Heiberg let out a loud sigh before calling.
Andrew Asher: A♦J♠
Jeff Heiberg: 9♦9♠
It was a massive flip, and Asher took the lead on the A♣K♦7♣ flop with top pair. The rest of the board ran out 8♣Q♣ and he doubled up.
"If you fold nines three-handed, you're better than I am," Rick Burleson said to Heiberg.
